Pronouns: She/her/hers Psychotherapist Licensed in New York Do you feel like people don’t take your problems seriously just because you’re young? They talk down to you or believe you don’t have it “as hard” as they do? I believe that all young people deserve respect and can absolutely go through hard times. Being a teenager or young adult can be really hard and sometimes overwhelming. I will provide you the nonjudgmental listening and support that you have been looking for. We can explore why you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, sad, etc. Then we will work together to come up with ways to cope with and manage these feelings. My treatment style is motivational, solution-focused, and restorative. I will never solve your problems for you or tell you what to do, but I will empower you to build the skills to face anything. We can work together on any issues, but some examples of my treatment experience include suicidal thoughts, self-harm, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, and/or explosive anger. She/her Psychotherapist Licensed in NY As a bilingual psychotherapist, I work with individuals and couples who feel emotionally stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by life’s expectations. Many of my clients describe being the “strong one” everyone relies on while quietly struggling inside overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship strain, or the constant pressure to keep it all together. Others come to therapy feeling distant from their partner, unsure how to rebuild communication or trust. In our sessions, I provide a safe, supportive space to slow down and explore what’s truly beneath the stress, disconnection, or conflict. Together, we identify patterns that leave you feeling unheard or misunderstood and develop healthier ways to communicate, connect, and grow both with yourself and those around you. My approach blends warmth, authenticity, and evidence-based practices, including CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. In individual therapy, I help clients explore personal challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship stress, life transitions, and unresolved trauma. Together, we uncover patterns that keep you feeling overwhelmed or stuck, and develop practical strategies to build emotional resilience, self compassion, and healthier ways of coping. In couples therapy, I guide partners to improve communication, rebuild trust, and reconnect emotionally. My approach blends warmth, authenticity, and evidence-based practices including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support growth both personally and relationally. Fluent in English and Spanish, I honor the role of culture, identity, and shared understanding in the healing process. Whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional balance, or stronger connections, therapy can be the space where meaningful healing and growth begin. If you’re ready to take the next step toward feeling understood, supported, and empowered, I welcome you to schedule a session and start your journey toward positive change.
